Learn moreMost of our soil ends up in indoor growing spaces, where minimizing pest infestation is high priority. That's why we measure, blend, age, package, and store each batch in our ultra-clean, climate controlled production facility.

Every batch is aged in humidity, temperature, and oxygen controlled chambers for a minimum of 90 days to allow the beneficial microbes and fungi enough time to cycle nutrients into plant available forms. Our Premium Organic Living Soil is suitable for germination all the way to harvest!

Where can I buy it?
We're in the middle of growing - check your local grow supply for availability.
Is it ready to use, or should I mix in anything else before planting?
Our soil already has the ideal aeration, nutrition, water retention, and organic matter ratios for high quality plant cultivation. It's also been aged for immediate use. We don't recommend adding anything else or ageing any further prior to planting. If you choose to fertilize, it's recommended to only do so after at least a month, or when your plants begin to show signs of deficiency to avoid over-fertilization.
It costs more than soil I've purchased before - why?
A soil suitable for growing should contain approximately 1/3 organic matter, 1/3 aeration, and 1/3 water retention. Organic matter content can be met by adding low cost materials like leaf compost, tree bark or manure; inputs known for harbouring pests. Instead, we use 100% premium organic worm castings harvested from earthworms that complete their entire life-cycle indoors, also known as "black gold" - an important strategy to reduce pest transfer to your grow space.
How is it packaged?
In resealable, food-grade, stand-up pouches.
Is it compressed or loose?
Loose - we find compressing soil degrades it's consistency.
Does it produce an unpleasant odour?
You may notice the smell of natural sulphur (an essential plant nutrient that smells like rotten eggs) when the bag is first opened, however it quickly dissipates and should not return.
